Memorial Day 2008

Thomas The Tank Engine 2008

For TJ's 3rd birthday, we took him to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine at the Heber Valley Railroad. He loves Thomas!

Manti, Utah

Since we moved back to the Salt Lake Valley 3 years ago, we have only been back a couple of times. TJ surprised us with a road trip to visit our temple and have a picnic on the temple grounds.

Our new home

At the end of March, we moved not too far from our old town home, into a larger home. It is MUCH bigger and has a lot more room for the kids to play and grow-not to mention TJ and Lydia don't have to share a room!

Mercedes' Baptism Day

Mercedes was baptized and confirmed by her dad on May 10th. It was such a great day, and she was so excited! We are so proud of her!

Her brother and sisters were there to watch. Grandma and Grandpa Saylor came and so did her Aunt Courtney, Uncle Sean, Uncle Mitch, her cousins, Braxton, Saylor and Krew, Uncle Roy and Aunt Sharon, and her friends the England Family and the Bartholomew Family. Plus, Bishop Bennett and the Primary President, sister Campbell.

Spring Time

I couldn't resist taking Lydia out into the garden to take some pictures. They turned out so cute!

Birthday Bash!

To celebrate her birthday, Mercedes wanted to take her friends to Sweet and Sassy to dress up, dance and play diva all day! They had a blast being "beautified!"

The party was unreal! After dressing up, they got their hair done, nails painted and make up done. Then a quick face painting and some dance instruction. Then it was time to strut down the runway just before a photo shoot. After that - it was off to the party room for cake and gifts!

The party crowd! Back row from the left, Jorjiana, Acewin, Ellie; front row from left, Jayci, Allison, the birthday girl, Erin and McKenna.

They had such a good time - Oh what fun it is to be a girl!

Mercedes turned 8!

Mercedes turned 8 years old on April 29th. Grandma took Mercedes downtown to visit temple square and to have lunch at the Garden Restaurant which over looks the Salt Lake Temple. It was a special time for them, which Mercedes really enjoyed. She is so excited to be baptized!

Lydia Sue getting so big!

Lydia had surgery in April to put tubes in her ears. She constantly had ear infections and her hearing was very poor.

Since the surgery, she has been so much happier, her hearing test came back so much better and she is now talking so much (well, dada, baba, duh, etc...)! Her favorite word is "Don't" or "Stop it" I think she is used to being around TJ!

Easter Sunday
